Recovering Your Lost Emails

“Today I faced a situation of losing the access to my emails.” These were the words of my colleague whose computer just crashed due to bad sectors and the network administrator formatted his computer.

All his work was safe but he did not had any backup to his emails of Outlook Express, so when he  launched his outlook express account, his account was deleted and all the mails were gone.The official had many important emails, attachments, contact addresses saved in his account but now all was in vain.

At this point an idea ticked in my mind; why not find the Outlook Express file and then import the emails to Outlook Express. The idea worked, we searched for .DBX file and were grateful to network administrator that he had saved the .dbx files of the email account. Luckily we had found the Inbox.dbx, Drafts.dbx, Sent Items.dbx, Abc.dbx files.

We imported the file to outlook express and could see the emails but the Drafts.dbx file was either corrupt or inaccessible. We could not see the draft emails of the account. Now we were helpless as it was like finding water in a desert but that too salty.

We then decided to try outlook express repair software for this purpose. We downloaded free trial version from Chily Softech website. We installed the email recovery software and yes the RecoveryFix for Outlook Express displayed the emails. The inaccessible emails could be retrieved back with complete information like attachments, images, text data, email properties etc.
